Jim first completed his original licenses while in high school, which now include a principal’s, investment advisory, registered representative licenses, and his life & health insurance licenses before joining his father and brother in the industry formally in 1982 while attending Marquette University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Business in 1984. The trio founded Executive Pension Design, Inc.in 1986 which became the Senglaub Financial Group, Inc. in 2005.

Beyond the family business, Jim is married to Peggy and together they share four sons, and a deep love for the faith and duck hunting. He’s an active volunteer at the Catholic Ecology Center, St. Gabriel’s Church, and their local Boy Scouts chapter, which his youngest is a member of. Every year he rallies friends and family to help plant thousands of trees (over one million trees now planted), one of which annually finds its way into his home as a 20′ tall Christmas tree, because the bigger the tree the more presents you can fit under it, and he loves seeing that Christmas mystery shine in his grandchildren’s eyes.
